smedium
smedium is a simple, minimal, static publishing/blog platform.
How it Works
Users post asciidoc/rst/markdown which is converted to static html available at a particular url, either anonymously or for registered users at domain/user/url. The original text is stored and can be edited later. A text editor (asciidoclive?) is provided that allows the creation of the documents to be converted. It also includes tools to create/embed content stored at other locations.
The goal of smedium is to only provide a simple editor and place to store the static files along with the converted html. This ideally results in extremely fast page loading and very minimal storage requirements.
Deploy via web server optimized for delivering static content and use a cdn frontend should mean extremely low cost to deliver content.
